Dr. Larry Lewis is a licensed psychologist with over 30 years of experience in the Department of Defense as an active duty officer and a government contractor. He has a depth and breadth of experience with assessment for personnel selection, performance enhancement and leadership development. Additionally, Larry has advised senior leaders and managers on matters such as training, research, organizational climate and operational issues.

 

As an Executive Coach, Larry has worked with clients from a wide range of industries, institutions and programs to include: American Express Leadership Academy, Ford Motor Company, New Memphis Leadership Institute Leadership Program, Kaiser Permanente Institute for Equitable Leadership, Sony Corporation, Merck Diversity Leadership Program, W.K. Kellogg Foundation Community Leadership Network, Lockheed Martin, Fannie Mae, the U.S. Department of Defense and other federal departments and agencies.

 

Larry received his coaching training from the esteemed Center for Creative Leadership. Larry’s role as a coach is to enhance his coachee’s effectiveness through helping them achieve self-optimization. He facilitates his coachees discovery of behaviors and attitudes that contribute to peak performance and assists their identification of derailing behaviors and self-limiting thoughts. Larry challenges his coachees to adopt a growth mindset which fosters experimentation with new behaviors, promotes new habits, aligns with goals and inspires courage, confidence and resilience. Simply stated, Larry supports his coachees as they lean into, and live into, their values and professional aspirations.
